Savory Grits
4 cups water
1 cup quick cooking grits, uncooked
1/2 cup minced green onions
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Dash ground red pepper

Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan; stir in grits and remaining ingredients. Reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 7 minutes or until thickened, stirring frequently.

Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 1 cup)
