Grilled Tandoori Chicken
3 lb. Chicken (preferably thighs and legs)
4 cloves garlic ( minced)
4 Tbsp. chopped ginger
1/2 Tbsp. ground cumin seed
1/2 Tbsp. turmeric
1/4 Tbsp. cayenne pepper (optional) |
1/2 Tbsp. black pepper
1 cup plain yogurt
2 Tbsp. lemon juice.
1 egg (beaten)
1/4 cup white flour
Salt to taste |
In a food processor puree garlic and ginger. Gradually
add lemon juice and yogurt.
Whisk in the beaten egg. Add rest of the ingredients
to the paste.
Stir in the chicken and marinade overnight. Light a grill.
Cook in the medium heat till it's done
