Family Favorite Stew
1 lb. ground beef
3 cups water
2 cans (14 1/2 oz. ea.) diced tomatoes in olive oil,
garlic and spices, drained |
1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
1 bag (16 oz.) frozen carrots, green beans and cauliflower
2 1/4 cups Bisquick® Original baking mix
2/3 cup milk |
Heat oven to 425° F.
Cook beef in ovenproof Dutch oven over medium heat, stirring
occasionally, until brown; drain.
Stir in water, tomatoes, tomato paste and vegetables.
Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally; remove from heat.
Stir baking mix and milk in medium bowl until soft dough
forms. Drop by 6 spoonfuls onto hot beef mixture. Bake uncovered 15 to
20 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown and stew is bubbly.
