Blend well the yolk and water. Divide mixture among several custard cups. Add a different food coloring to each to make bright colors. Paint designs on cookies with small paintbrushes. If paint thickens on standing, add a few drops of water. There is a bit of artist in every child and painting cookies is just as much fun as painting on paper. Plus they are edible!
