Snowy Cream Frosting
3/4 cup shortening
1 lb. powdered sugar
1/2 cup plus 1 1/2 tsp. milk |
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla, lemon or rum flavoring
1 tsp. glycerin |
Combine and beat until smooth and creamy. May take 10
minutes of beating with a mixer.
If too thick add a teaspoon of milk at a time until the
consistency is right to spread.
