Caramel (Penuche) Frosting I
1/4 cup Butter or margarine
3/4 cup Brown sugar; packed
1/4 cup Milk
2 cup Confectioners' sugar (approx.)

Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in brown sugar. Cook over low heat 2 minutes... add milk.
Bring to a full boil. Cool to lukewarm WITHOUT stirring. Add about 2 cup confectioners' sugar, and beat to spreading consistency. If too thick, add a little milk.
