Simple Curry Powder
4 tsp. coriander seeds
4 tsp. cumin seeds
2 tsp. fenugreek seeds
2 bay leaves |
1 tsp. black peppercorns
1 tsp. ground turmeric
1 tsp. pure chili powder |
Dry roast the coriander, cumin and fenugreek in a skillet
until lightly browned, 1-2 minutes, then grind in a spice grinder with
the bay leaves and peppercorns. Shake with the turmeric and chile
powder in a small, airtight container.
Makes 4 Tablespoons
