Chewy Chocolate Cookies
1 (18.25 oz..) pkg. light devil's food cake mix
2 Tbsp. stick margarine or butter, softened
2 large egg whites
1 large egg
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Cooking spray
2 tablespoons water
Preheat oven to 350° F. Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; beat at medium speed of a mixer 2 minutes. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart onto baking sheets coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350° F. for 10 minutes. Remove from pans; cool on wire racks. Store in an airtight container.
Yield: 5 dozen (serving size: 1 cookie).
