Potato Casserole

8-10 medium potatoes, peeled and cooked
1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 8 oz. carton sour cream
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 cup grated onion

Whip cheese and sour cream until smooth; add garlic salt and onion. Add cooked potatoes, one at a time, and beat after each addition until smooth. Put in greased 1-1/2 qt. casserole and spread with butter and paprika. Heat at 350° F. until hot, about 1 hour.

(This is one recipe that isn't as good if you substitute the sour cream & cream cheese with the fat-free versions. The texture really changes.)
