Russian Tea # 2
2 Tbsp. black tea leaves
2 cups boiling water
sugar
lemon slices
jam
Place the tea leaves in a warmed teapot, fill it with the boiling water and let the tea infuse for 10 minutes. Set the pot on the stove over a low heat to keep this tea essence hot. For each serving, strain a little of the essence into a cup and add enough boiling water to dilute the essence to taste. Serve the tea accompanied by sugar, lemon slices and jam.
