Sausage-Cheese Balls*

3 cups Bisquick® Original baking mix
1 pound bulk pork sausage
4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (16 oz.)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary leaves
1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes
Barbecue sauce or chili sauce (if desired)

Heat oven to 350° F. Lightly grease bottom and sides of jelly roll pan, 15 1/2x10 1/2x1 inch.
Stir together all ingredients thoroughly. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls. Place in pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until brown. Immediately remove from pan. Serve warm with sauce for dipping.
Makes about 6 1/2 dozen appetizers.

1 Appetizer: 55 calories (35 calories from fat); 4 g fat (2 g saturated); 10 mg cholesterol; 150 mg sodium; 3 g carbohydrate (0 g dietary fiber); 2 g protein.

High Altitude (3500-6500 ft.): Heat oven to 375° F. Decrease baking mix to 2 1/2 cups; stir in 1/2 cup Gold Medal all-purpose flour.

*If you like, you can prepare the uncooked balls up to 24 hours in advance.
